The Norman Regional providers, and brothers, hope to use their podcast to help patients start conversations with their primary care provider about difficult questions they may have. No topics are off-limits as the Vedala brothers hope to foster open communication for improved patient-centered care.

Vital Visions with the Vedala Brothers is a project that the physicians have wanted to start for a while, dating back to their days in medical school. With the Vedalas’ dream for this podcast coming to life, they will be able to bridge the gap between providers and patients, providing helpful and valuable information to the public.

Vital Visions: The Vedala Brothers Podcast is brought to you by Norman Regional Health System, a multi-campus system that serves the healthcare needs of south central Oklahoma. Krishna Vedala, MD, MBA, MPH, Dipl. ABOM is an internal medicine physician at Norman Regional’s Primary Care – South OKC. Dr. Vedala received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma and completed his residency at White River Health System in Batesville, Arkansas.

Dr. Vedala's purpose is to help provide a better future for the world using the knowledge he has gained from his extensive training and various experiences.

“I believe that internal medicine, along with my public health background, provide me with the ability to address a wide variety of illnesses and critical issues,” Dr. Vedala said.

He added that leading a healthy lifestyle is about balancing overall well-being, but that it is not an easy task and he knows that from his personal experiences.

“I want to help my patients achieve their healthcare goals and want them to know that they can expect the best from me.”
